What Dr. Khoshbin does

An elective practice built around direct anterior hip replacement, complex and revision hip reconstruction, and orthopaedic trauma.

Direct anterior hip replacement

A muscle-sparing hip replacement reached through the front of the hip, on a specialised table, with live X-ray to confirm implant position and leg length. This is the core of the elective practice.

Revision hip reconstruction

Replacing or rebuilding a hip that has worn, loosened, or failed. Revision surgery is more complex than a first replacement and is a particular area of Dr. Khoshbin's expertise.

Orthopaedic trauma

Complex lower-limb trauma, including pelvic and acetabular fractures and fractures around an existing implant, drawing on fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma.
